Loretta E. Chianese
Dance has been at the core of human civilization for centuries. Whether it is a celebrated part of a culture, or simply something done for pure enjoyment, there’s a wonderful feeling that one gets from the art of movement.
Loretta's mission is to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique environment in which students can grow both mentally and physically as dancers. Loretta's instruction is world class and she has a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and techniques.

Loretta is a competitive Latin dancer, choreographer, and instructor. She currently teaches at Ballet Technique in Hamilton, NJ. Her most recent competitive achievements include:

Loretta has 30 years of dance experience, including extensive training in ballet and jazz with world class instructors from Hamilton Ballet Theatre (HBT), American Ballet Theatre (ABT), Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, Briansky Saratoga Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet. She has trained under Billy Fajardo, World Hustle, Swing, Cabaret, Salsa, and Merengue champion. Loretta has trained privately with world renowned directors of Baila Society in New York City, Daniel Enskat and Ahtoy Won Pat Borja. Performing dance has been second nature to her since she was a child. She burst into the Philadelphia salsa scene with magnetic stage presence and precise technique in 2009. Her career in salsa has expanded from the East Coast to the West Coast, outside of the States to Canada where her and her partner Jose became 1st place Champions in Salsa and Bachata in Niagara Falls. She has also performed and taught workshops in the Caribbean and Europe.
Along with her ballet and jazz training, Loretta is educated in contemporary and modern dance, tap dance, and continues to study yoga and Pilates. Teaching ballet, jazz, lyrical, stretch, Salsa, ladies styling, Hustle, and all forms of Latin dance at Ballet Technique. Julie Caprio has mentored Loretta since she began her ballet training. Loretta went on to dance as a Principal dancer with Hamilton Ballet Theatre from 2001-2008. Her Latin dance repertoire includes LA Style Salsa On1, New York style Mambo On2, Cha-Cha, Bachata, Merengue, and Latin Hustle. The ladies are a fan of her unique and flavorful styling, men love dancing with her because she can follow any lead and she is always upbeat.
Loretta also holds a Master’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey.
